Many were by user rating and some from links here after hearing a great demo from someone. You can demo patches quickly when I found one that was good, great or simply work-able Id tweak for my particular taste from there. Some of the best ones for me were simply great amp sounds that I could add effects as I felt needed. Many, alternatively, needed most of the overdone effects stripped out before there was a potentially great patch to be had. ![]() Some very cool organ like tones filters really surprised me, but theres also some (not alot) great meat potatoes amp sounds among the presets that you can tweak to taste. I would be embarrased to submit patches that sounded like that. Some you dont even have to play and you can just tell by all the noise once the patch is loaded that its going to be bad. My favorites are pissed off Twin, Joe Bonamassa 2, Johnny A, Satriani The Forgotten and Cryin, Floyd - Gasm, Blue Tweed, and Clean Fender for a few of them. Click on downloads and it will sort by the number of times they were downloaded. Lead tone 2. Clean ryhthm tone More of your favourites please. I am running a JTV-59 into a hd500 and Alto Truesonic speaker, so I am hoping maybe you have patches that are a lil more usable than the ones I have found. I think a lot of these patches sound great through headphones but they sound awful live. I have found that if you leave reverb out and increase the ER value instead it makes the reverb less prominent. Thanks to frugalguitarist for that one IIRC).
